This website is operated by Cosy Em, an independent British women’s knitwear brand based in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
Throughout these terms, “Cosy Em”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cosy Em.
Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products online.

Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
You must not use our website in any way that could damage, disable or interfere with the website, its security or its availability to other users.
We may update, change or withdraw parts of the website from time to time.
Products & Product Information
We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible.
Please be aware that colours can appear differently depending on your screen, device and display settings. As many of our products are made using textured and natural-fibre yarns, there may also be small variations between individual items.
Product measurements, fabric composition and care information are provided on individual product pages where applicable.
All products are subject to availability.
Prices
All prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products in your order.
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted when we confirm that it has been processed or dispatched.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or product-information error, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through the payment providers available through our Shopify store. Cosy Em does not directly store your complete payment-card details.
Delivery
We currently offer free UK delivery on orders over £120.
We aim to process and dispatch orders by the next working day. UK orders are normally sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you normally have the right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us within this 14-day period and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel your order.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Certain goods may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where an applicable legal exception applies.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Returns & Refunds
Returned items should be unworn, other than being tried on as you would in a shop, and returned in their original condition with tags attached.
You are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or we have agreed otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining your proof of postage until your return has been processed.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel the whole order, we will refund the price paid and, where required by law, the cost of our standard delivery service. Additional delivery charges incurred because you selected a more expensive delivery option are not refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.
Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We want your Cosy Em order to reach you in perfect condition.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or is not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
UK consumer rights require goods to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose; those rights cannot simply be excluded by a retailer's terms.
Sale & Discounted Items
Sale and discounted items are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.
Where an item is eligible for return under our Returns & Refunds Policy, purchasing it at a reduced price does not in itself remove your right to return it.
Promotions & Discount Codes
From time to time, Cosy Em may offer promotional codes, introductory discounts or other special offers.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Promotions may have specific eligibility requirements, expiry dates or exclusions, which will be stated alongside the relevant offer.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, but this will not affect orders already accepted using the promotion.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including Cosy Em branding, text, graphics, photographs, product imagery and original designs, is owned by or licensed to Cosy Em unless otherwise stated.
You may view and use the website for your personal, non-commercial use.
You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or use our content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Reviews & Customer Content
If you submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content to Cosy Em, the content you submit must be truthful and must not infringe the rights of another person.
