Care Guide

All of our knitwear can be hand washed or machine washed on a delicate cycle using wool detergent. Gently remove excess water by hand - please do not spin or tumble dry! Dry flat and then steam to release any wrinkles and fluff up the yarns.

Please be careful when handling lurex and loose knits as they can snag easily on jewellery or other sharp items. If the yarn pulls - don’t worry! Try to help the knit repair itself as much as possible by grasping the fabric on either side of the snag, in all four directions and gently stretching it to encourage the thread to “reset itself” along the horizontal line of knitting.

This will make the snagged thread loop become much smaller so the fabric will regain much of its normal appearance. Next, insert a small crochet hook or large eyed needle into the knit from back to front through the hole formed by the snag, catching the snagged thread in the hook and gently pulling it through to the rear. Now the front of your fabric will look normal and the loop will be at the backside.

A little extra care is worth it for the shimmer!
